I've seen Bruford criticized for using too many single stroke rolls. I do not believe that to be true, for one, but even if it were true his use of them, in his own inimitable voice, carves him a place in drumming that is his.

I never cared much for Crimson. Only had one of their albums. I leaned more toward UK to listen to Bruford. And Yes, of course. But anything he plays he plays with his voice. THAT is the mark of a great musician.

It is not available now, for the moment it is sold out everywhere.

I got a great deal on mine, $140.00 from Deep Discount.
Money is no object when something interests you, if you are just a casual observer, there
are many other cheaper King Crimson live CD's you can get.

This box set is just for the real hardcore listeners that want to get deeper into the now legendary
1974 King Crimson line up.

I certainly agree with Asaph.

Bill IS signature.  It's great
when you can hear a player's
voice crystal clear.

He was a great influence on
me, as a youngster and it
stuck with me throughout.

They are all soundboard recordings, most never released before.
Some of them are real raw, but it is nice that they didn't edit anything out, it is great
to hear the mistakes sometimes. Hours of great listening in this box set.

I loved the crazy Belew days!

Note the quarters on the recording,
which I prefer and Levin is monster!
