Mister Magic

Answered a Craigslist ad, played with these guys once, then asked to play in the studio. I didn't know this classic Grover Washington, Jr. song the way many of you probably would have, probably because I shunned smooth jazz since the beginning, but that was my loss as Grover was quite a musician, of course. Anyway, this is a few weeks ago, my first time in the studio since 2005. The engineer thought we could do it without headphones, but there was no way to hear the piano, so two of us got headphones. Luckily, I remembered to leave one of the sides off half my ear so I could hear some room sound. Hoping to get some work with these guys.
