I spend SO MUCH TIME
learning the work from
MY SPANISH HEART. It
was, for me, one of the
turning points in my
drumming life, with
THE LEPRECHAUN.

It was that time, when
I was out to see him
every night I could
talking to him. I still
hear the things he
said to me like it was
yesterday.

One of my favorite
responses had to do
with Aja and that
it was done so
quickly. I asked
how do you know
it is the right take?
He responded:

"If it sounds right,
it is right."

As you know, I have
countless stories. He
lives in all of us like
Boomer does. He got
into my blood like I
know he got into
yours, Racman.

6 piece drum set and 3 cymbals, playing nearly
impossible rhythms based off the basic of patterns.

Making it sound and do like no one else on this
planet could.

How humbled am I.
