Ted shared this a while back, but I didn't know the whole show was available. Wow, this will be great to see. Info on the Hollywood Meazzi pedal tom here:

I've been melting down saxophones to offer a Timp-tom conversion kit . . .

Yes, this is a great video, with a super solo from Billy, the tempo is quite high and he keeps it wonderfully through it.

I have a number of CDs from those years and they are all fantastic too. Pity, it seems to be the only video document of the time. Also, if he was playing like this in 1968 it means he was already doing it around the same way some years before, would be nice to discover some stuff from those days and previous too.

Talking about Billy, would be nice to see him showing up here.

By the way, the Music Fair in Frankfurt is coming, I'll be there during 13-14 (Th - Fr) March, and most likely I will see him around, he always shows up!

Best regards,

It's actually from 1969 , and I've had the first tune, Nutville , on my site for most of the last year now. Thanks to Keith for mentioning that. Peace, TED

Yeah I recently saw that as well,

Very cool footage, and I dig the trad grip with the right hand he's doing there. Don't see that much--
