Yes I Love your Rock Groove
like Narada in 1976 would do with Ray Gomez on Guitar.

Giigs need Drummers that play all styles.

Colin, thank you and great observation!
those back to back fills with the cymbals were
Narada inspired.

I appreciate your kind compliments more than you
can know.... Heck, if you can get Colin to dig on your
stuff then you must be doing something right!

Asaph, I smiled like that because I am SO out of
my element that it's comical. I NEVER get to play
like that anymore! I'm just having a ball doing
these clips.... Mistakes and all! Laughing

Thanks guys!

Respect!

I know what its like to be shunted into one style or another. As the saying goes, if ya don't use it, ya lose it. Fortunately though, ROCK is so driving that its just a matter of filling the phrases instead of the mechanical stuff.

I like your double bass stuff Don! When did you start using this setup, and are you using a single pedal with two beaters? I bet having those HH's on the right side of the kit adds as well.

Unc,

I've been using this setup about 22 years.
since circa 1990. The reason no one has
seen it is because I haven't used a double
bass setup publicly since my fuson band
days from back then. Like you said: "If
ya don't use it, ya lose it." So I've always
kept this configuration setup in my garage.

For me playing as a right handed person
would, it really makes sense not to have
to reach across the snare to play the HH
as the distance is even greater with a
double kick configuration. I REALLY like
the idea of being square at the kit.

I've just recently applied the same configuration
to my single bass setup for live performance:

setup.

It's a pedal for each kick drum on the double bass kit.

I totally understand Neph! Being square on the kit is crucial. It's also cool having tubs on the left side too!
