Interesting right hand grip

I'm not sure which came first, but the swivel technique went from hands to feet, or vice versa. It's getting big in the fast-foot movement.

Does anyone remember how Bev Beven used to hold his sticks in his left hand? I couldn't find any old vids or pictures of it. He used to hold them between his middle and index fingers. You can get a pretty fast single handed roll going that way, but I got a terrible blister trying to hold sticks that way when I was a kid.
