Another Special Night in New York

I like lots of different styles of music as many of you know, so it should come as no surprise that I attended my 8th Bangles concert last night at BB King's.

Opening act was a decent local all-girl band named Antigone Rising. They were good with their country rock stylings and harmonies. They did a nice cover of the Allman's Midnight Rider.

But the Bangles were also in great form and great voice last night. Even though they are only 3 now [ bassist Michael Steele has retired ], they still managed to fill the air with superb harmonies.

And I finally got to meet them after all these years, which was a nice Memorial Day present for me. They were oh so nice, too.

Great pics,
I used to have the biggest crush on Susanna Hoffs back in the day. I'm also a friends with Antigone Rising-I did some touring with them , and they are also really nice girls. Haven't seen them in about 6 years, but glad to hear they're still at it.

I always liked the Go-Go's, good songs, nice presentation.
Too bad they didn't tour this year, although they play strange markets.
Not too many major cities, except Los Angeles.
