It is a step down from the Trick
Pro-1. It does not have the floor-
board hoop adjustment or the
other two alternatives on the
link receiver.

It has the Uni-Cam but is not
the Pro-1 package.

Pro-1 is the one.

I must say that at the end of the day, I had to sit down and give some serious thought as to what I was allowing myself to fall into. At some point, you have to decide and choose which wedding dress you're going to wear. All of this new, high tech equipment is great. But you know what?! So is my Axis and my Iron Cobra. Like you, Fusion, I'm a set it and forget it kind of guy. Once the first beat starts, all of those nice little extra perks really doesn't mean a whole lot if anything.

Don't get me wrong, I love the advancement of technology in the drum industry but at some point it comes down to me striving to become one with the gear that I already have. I can honestly say that I most definitely have not outgrown the equipment I currently use. And I know that there are some out there doing some amazing things on their kick drums with probably less than what I am using currently by way of technology. There will always be something else, something different, something better.... What I need to do is focus and see what I can do about improving me!

I've decided to let the hot, new latest and greatest kick pedals be for the time being. drunken

I know exactly what you
mean, Don.

The truth is the Demon-
Drive is really just a refine-
ment of the ideas that the
companies had generated
up to that point.

Now, the comparisons will
just get closer and more
subtle. Now, it's as you
say. Time to focus on the
features that really matter.

I am still using the Boa-
Pedals, right now. Yup.

affraid

I actually found another
aspect to them (adjust-
ment), believe it or not!

When I get a chance, I
will talk about them,
again - resurrecting the
thread on them.

Oh, for sure technology matters, Pete. But for me at least, there's got to be a cut off point. There are some things out there right now that I would love to try. But as it stands right now I can barely play with what I already have. The new stuff will never stop rolling in... I've simply decided to redirect my focus...

......... For awhile! Suspect

I hear you, buddy. I am agreeing
with you. I think we are there, at
that cut-off, now.

I am interested in JoJo's design.
He is working on one but I, too,
have seen what I need to see.

Now, we get out of them what
we need to get out of them.

I'll tell you this, Pete... Rhythmically speaking, the Duallist really has my attention right now. I've been checking out some clips for some time now and I'm really liking the rhythmic possibilities.

I'm also reading and hearing that the pedal feels quite good also.
