that's nice Spanky. let's talk about funk.
We have an amazing funk jam in my town every thursday night. All the jazz students and players in town come down and tear up some funk! i swear it is the hottest thing goin in this town. I played tonite on some nice DWdrums and a percussion set up too congas etc.. It's just a really good time there's singers and rappers lots of good horn players, guitars, keys, drummers etc.. all switchin off. it's superb! I get to give them alittle different latin afro brazilian grooves then they are used to but the bassist is really into tumbao and we just killed. i just love it.
