Very nice productions . . . must be nice to be a drummer in demand! Haven't visited your page in a few, so hadn't heard a few of these tunes. I especially like the Dylanesque "Out Of State Plates" . . . a few days ago I got on a Roy Orbison kick and then spent about an hour watching Traveling Wilburys youtube videos. Thought of you when I saw Jim Keltner . . .

The Wilbury's are (were) just awesome. And I'm TRYING to be able to play like Keltner....Could take a while..hahaha

I guess the thing i really love about drummers like Keltner is the ability to play simply, but not boring or obtrusive to the song.

He played some fabulous stuff with Brad Mehldeau on the album 'Largo'' If you get a chance, check it out. the record also featured Matt Chamberlain who is another one of my favorites...and on some tracks they played together... it's pretty cool to listen to.
