Yoshi's has installed a permanent web camera for streaming their LIVE SHOWS in HD
quality. The Billy Cobham Band was the flagship band for this veture last night Which
will launch the live, real time broadcast at Yoshi's tonight (10.19.10.)
at 8pm pst.

You're welcome, rarebit. As you know there's nothing like being there in person,
but this is a cool thing! The band was BUMPIN! I plan on writing a full review as
soon as I recharge the ol' batteries!

Cool Video, anyone know how to download it to your computer?
This probably won't be up forever, it would be nice to save it for future viewing.
I tried Real Player downloader, that doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Great, great shows. .... The songs that Billy does from the "Palindrome" CD are so much better here in this live setting. .... And who is this lady on keyboards? .... Never seen her before--but she's GOOD.

Great stuff, tconrad, but I gotta tell you, it's nothing like actually being there.
As cool as these streams are, they really don't come close to giving the show
it's full justice.

LOL! Being Billy's drum tech doesn't offer me the total luxury of sitting in the
audience throughout the show. I'm usually back and forth between my seat
and the soundboard relaying messages to Franz about the tones and levels,
from my vantage point, taking pictures or being at the ready for minor (or major)
equipment mishaps on stage. I haven't seen the entire stream footage yet but if
at anytime you see a guy walking around with a camera, squatting and snapping
pictures, that's me.
