Woody

I hope things are going well for you, Pete.
I lost my Mom to pancreatic cancer the day after christmas.
There is a certain void in my life now that can't be filled.
I pray that your treatment is successful and you're able to live a happy and healthy life.
Stay strong, my friend, and don't give up hope.

It's been a while. I have not
written anything because I did
not see any point in it until I
had my first MRI to look at the
area where the tumor was.

I go in tomorrow, at 6:45am CST.

Next week, I will go over the images
with my surgeon. I will let you
know what we find and also tell
you of my health journey.

Love you guys.

Well, today I went in for the
results of last Friday's MRI-scan
and they are in.

All clear.

I had not sent out any updates
as I just didn't have the evidence
that would back up how good I
was feeling.  Well, now I have
the first scan behind me.  There
will be others every 6 months as
per the routine and for a couple
of years.  I am supplementing
with key minerals and vitamins
and increasing my exercise.

I will not stop.

Again, thanks for your support
and I will be in touch.

Love,

P

I will make this brief.  After the clear
MRI, I have flying on my recovery and
everyone has been asking me about
what I have been doing and I am going
to tell you but with respect.

Iodine - Your thyroid is 65% iodine and
guess where it gets its iodine.  The
Japanese have the best go at that,
with some 15mg daily from kelp.  The
rest of us are having our iodine replaced
by the -ides and -ates on the periodic
table, like bromide and fluoride etc.

Iodine is not an option.  95% of people
tested over a period of 15-years are
iodine deficient.  Believe it or not.  So,
you must supplement with it.  If you
wish to follow up through me, contact
me right here.

Since taking it, I have noted much more
clarity of thought; liver spots, fungus'
and bromide patches disappearing and
I am talking about spots on the body
that have been there since I was a
teenager.  It's been crazy and it's only
just begun.

Again, get and read this book:

The Iodine Crisis

Get rid of all iodized salt.  It is
bleached garbage.  Use ONLY sea
salt and it's available anywhere.  It
has 80 trace minerals that your body
is dying for. You cramps will disappear
overnight.  I am not kidding.  The salt
will also grab a hold of the bromide and
other inhibitor molecules and allow you
to get the out of your system, with
the water that you drink.

Next, get a hold of this book:

The Magnesium Miracle

You will have a couple of options on
how to supplement this.  While the MD
talks about the citrate form, I strongly
urge you to make your own solution of
it and apply it dermaly and all over your
body.  Magnesium is absolutely essential
for your body to function and when you
find out about its relationship with the
Jekyl and Hyde calcium, you will startle.

You are most likely magnesium deficient
and because of that calcium is doing
something ELSE to your body and I will
let the kind doctor explain that.

I am posting this here for you: my
brothers because I want the best for
you.  I want the very best and may
this be new life for you and a token
of my appreciation for your love.

It will start you.

Hi Pete... we spoke on the phone recently and we both were overjoyed that your recovery is positive. I cannot imagine the path that you're on, but have empathy for any regimen we're subjected to when it comes to our health and well being.

You wrote:

My maternal grandmother (deceased since 1960) had her thyroid gland removed some years earlier. Iodized salt [Morton brand] was always used in her cooking. I'm not an expert on our physiology, yet I agree that consumption of naturally occuring foods is best for our bodies. When salting anything, I use sea salt. In fact, I've discovered that when cooking healthy meals its best to use herbs that fake our palates craving salt. These cooking shows on the streams today can be deceiving. Its best to bring the Best with the natural - holistically speaking.

I am rejoicing that you are doing better and just could not (would not) overlook this opportunity [privilege] to communicate with you with Thanksgiving.

Be well my friend.

Well...

The news is in.

Cancer. Different spot.
In between glutes. It is
about the size of a quarter.
My surgeon wants someone
else to do it, who only does
this type of surgery/location.

It is what it is. I will let you
know on Tuesday, when I
see the new doctor.

Cancer is finding a home
in me for some reason or
other and like most of the
cases you hear about, it
is less than clear.

I have to operate with the
information I have available
to me and this time, we do
not have as much. Right
now, we have this MRI and
that is it. We do not have
a comparison for is except
the "all-clear" earlier in the
year. So, it's taken that
long OR has it come on re-
cently? We don't know.

The new surgeon will give
me more data. Perhaps,
we will do another MRI for
ANY sign of growth and it
would give us a better rate
of urgency. I do not know,
right now.

The only thing that is certain
is that I will not opt for rad-
iation or chemo, no matter
what is presented to me or
from where.

I will let you know.

When it rains, it pours and
this is only one of the things
I am fielding. There is a
saying that if you want
something done: give it to
a busy person. Maybe I
just have something else
to get done.

We'll see.

Thanks, all.

Saw surgeon, today.

He believes the tumor related
and proposes the removal of
the entire right buttock and
re-trenching of the original
effected area. This is a major
procedure and will be very
debilitating. The nerves to
the lower leg will be at risk.
While I won't lose the leg, he
believes it does not have to
be amputated. He thinks that
I should not rule out chemo-
therapy, though it would be
a special technique, only
recently used.

He believes my life it at risk
and asked for an immediate
C-Scan of the lungs. I did do
it after I saw him and am
waiting for the result.

After all this, he asked me
what my decision was. I
told him what I would tell
any magazine salesman:

"I'll think about it and get
back to you."

I will look at from other
angles, as I have been all
this while but I will be more
strict about the supplements
and diet (upping and adding).

Two things are certain.

1. I will not entertain chemo.

2. I am not going to sacrifice
my butt and leg for this
experiment.

That is that.

Appreciated, Colin.

I am re-directing all energies
into logical alternatives. I have
been working on these all the
while. Now: I will be even more
focused. I have already begun
to implement the list.

Not doing it their way does NOT
mean I am giving up.

Thanks, again.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers on your behalf Pete. I applaud that you are looking for alternatives to what they have been proposing, but that's all each doctor knows - surgeons always propose surgery. I don't know if you've explored Cancer Treatment Centers of America - they have a wide range of options.

Supporting whatever decisions you make and wishing you a swift recovery !

My personal love to you Pete as a Brother by another mother.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but {only} one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.
25 And everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then {do it} to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
26 Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air;
27 but I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
(NAS)

So keep the pace, passion and Purpose my friend. You're not chasing after anything... you're only being Led without being finished yet [as is everyone's motivation]. I love your attitude. I pray for your acclimation to what so many are aggravated by. None among us are perfect or has even been "perfect." ... except One. You know His Name... not her name.
